If you enjoy a drink every now and then, keep your cash at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Only take whatever money you expect to use on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you intend to burn and keep the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Not really. Just realistic. You can have a win after a intoxicated night out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a long toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that story because it's as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and bet. The pair simply do not mix.

Leaving your cash at home is a tiny bit drastic, but defensive actions for dramatic actions is required. If you bet to profit, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the free beer you can handle, but do not carry charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your inebriated self squanders all the cash!

Permit me to take this one step further. do not consume alcohol and then head on the internet to play in your favorite internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my domicile, but seeing that I'm connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards in close proximity, I can't drink and wager.

What's the reason? Despite the fact that I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely enough to blur my common sense. I wager, so I don't drink alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don't bet when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and crazy, drink.
